How to install the X-CAMPER Tracker
Installing the X-CAMPER is straightforward and takes just a few minutes – no garage, no tools, no cutting of any cables.
The tracker connects directly to your motorhome's power supply. Once installed, it runs permanently on its own – you never need to charge it again. That's one of the biggest advantages compared to most other GPS trackers.
Everything you need is included in the box:
- X-CAMPER GPS Tracker (without subscription)
- SIM card (already built in)
- Two power cables with integrated waterproof fuse
- Quick connectors – compatible with all cable types in motorhomes (thin and thick cables)
- Double-sided tape for mounting
How the connection works:
Connect the red cable to a permanent power source (plus) and the black cable to ground (minus). Thanks to the included quick connectors, this is done without cutting a single cable – simply clip them onto the existing wires.
We recommend connecting to the secondary battery rather than the main battery. This way, even if the tracker uses a small amount of power over a long period, your main battery stays full and your motorhome will always start.
Once connected, simply link the tracker to the app – download the free Ruhavik app on your phone and log in with the IMEI number printed on your tracker. That's it – your tracker is ready and your motorhome is protected from that moment on.
